Growth Opportunities
While we are pleased with the above data points, we still have much room for improvement. For the 2023-24 school year, our district and school leaders have been focused on improving professional development, instructional strategies, and student outcomes.
Additionally, schools can earn points for students who have good attendance (85% or higher). Unfortunately, we did not meet this threshold. We are creating attendance incentives and celebrations to encourage good school attendance. In addition, we will work with families of students who are struggling to get to school consistently.
Data not included
Some of our data was not included in the state’s calculation. Therefore, Crossroads earned zero points in the following area. Note that we are following up with DESE to ensure this is corrected:
- CCR Assessments (ACT™, SAT™, WorkKeys™, Accuplacer™, and ASVAB.): Our students completed the ACT and the Accuplacer last year, but that data was not included in this report.
A link to how all categories are calculated can be found here.
Again, we are pleased with some of our results and will continue to focus on improving professional development, instructional strategies, and student outcomes. We appreciate your partnership throughout this process and welcome your support as we move forward!
